We were delighted to welcome over 350 distinguished guests at our Year Opening Festive Concert held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on February 17, 2020. The evening was opened by the welcome speeches of Mr. Marc Dillard, Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Unites States of America and Dr. Zoltán Lőrinczi, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Human Capacities. The Festive Concert featured 16 years old prodigy cellist, Aleksander Smic and Csaba Szegedi, Tenor.

Members from Central and Eastern European Harvard Clubs gathered for an enchanting weekend in the capital of Waltzer, Vienna. After enjoying a spectacular summer night at the Spanish Riding School, where guest from around the world revived the imperial times at 7th Fête Impériale summer ball, the attendees participated a knowledge transfer panel and laid down the foundation of an exciting cooperation among the regional Harvard Clubs. The program then continued with a visit to the fascinating halls of the National Library of Austria and a nice traditional dinner at a Heuriger.
